as warbirds, we thrive on the social aspect of the guild. as such we have established social clubs for various things...
a warbirds social club can be formed for any purpose (as long as it does not violate the warbirds codex) and any member of warbirds can create a social club.
social clubs do not have a required minimum number of members, and they are not required to be active.
what is a social club?
in warbirds, a social club is any group of members, regardless of wing or game affiliation that desire to form a club for a specific purpose. some examples of existing clubs are:
- the warbirds chess club, founded in 2010
- the warbirds lgbtq+ allies club, founded in 2009
- the warbirds video editing club, founded in 2014
who is in charge of a social club?
in warbirds a social club is led by a club president, who is assisted by a club vice president.
as clubs grow, they may add officers, clubs are free to name their officer ranks however they please, however for organization purposes all positions outside of club president and vice president will be referred to as club officers in official warbirds proceedings.
how do I establish a warbirds social club?
the following information must be provided to a warbirds leader in order to establish a formal warbirds social club:
1. the name of the club
2. The purpose of the club (a brief statement on what the club is for/doing)
3. the name of the clubs president
4. the name of the clubs vice president
be advised: all warbirds clubs are open recruitment, this means that anyone wishing to join a specific club is free to do so, there are not entry requirements for a club.
what happens if a club loses all its members?
unlike wings, clubs can exist with no members, the club is simply placed on an inactive clubs list until a future warbird decides they want to revive the club.
